I am so glad the food mill is still around. I was given a hand me down food mill 19 years ago. I used it faithfully with my 2 babies, then passed it on. I have given food mills as baby gifts several times over the years and it is always a huge hit!
This is such a great way to control what your baby is eating, helpful on a budget, great when dining out. You can put just about anything in here and get great baby food!
Clean up is minimal, handwash or put in top rack dishwasher.
Get it for yourself or give it as a gift ... purchase this product with confidence.

After spending nearly an hour trying to get roasted sweet potato and roasted carrots smooth enough for my baby using a spoon and strainer and a food processor, I decided to give this mill a try. It's worked out very well for me so far. I've used it for pears, avocado and roasted red peppers (those were a little harder). The avocado was still a little lumpy for me, so I just ran into through the mill again and that helped get out a lot of the tiny chunks. For making simple baby food, this product fits the bill.Customer Review: Useful and handy

This food mill is of the same design as the one we used more than 30 years ago when our children were small. [All learned to enjoy fresh and wholesome foods and continue to have healthy eating habits.]
I just bought 2 food mills; one for our house and another for our daughter and son-in-law so any one of us could make 'instant baby food' from foods that are part of a family meal. A healthy and economical way to introduce a baby to new foods.

This is an excellent product. I have used a similar one for over 25 years and it is still working. We use it daily at a child care facility and have never had a problem with ours. The only difference I see is the top disk on this one is heavy plastic rather than metal. The grinder is still metal, but the top disk (with the round holes in it) is plastic. I received this as a gift with my first child. It is SO GREAT! You can grind up anything you cook for dinner, breakfast, etc. and have instant, healthy, fresh baby food! I rarely bought jars of baby food and used this constantly. You can even take it to restuarants and grind food right there! I made sure I had it for my other children and I give it to pregnant women as a shower gift!
