I have not had the problems others have mentioned...no splashing & no weak coffee. I grind my own coffee, a little on the fine side, fill to the top, then tap it down to just below the top white rim. This makes a fairly strong coffee with no grounds in my cup. It's easy to dump the grinds when the coffee's done & rinse the cup.Customer Review: Works Great!!

I was a little hesitant to buy this product after reading all the bad reviews....but at this price it was worth trying. This filter assembly works fantastic. A lot of people complained of coffee grinds getting into the cup and the coffee being week. I did not experience these problems. A few things to consider:
1. Use a fine grind
2. Don't pack the grinds into the filter, just fill and leave as is
3. Fill the filter about 3/4 full
I agree the assembly may be a little fragile. It would be easy to over tighten the lid and crack the assembly. Just be careful, no need to excessively tighten the lid. Enjoy!

I purchased a Keurig for work and now we have coffee group. Several of the guys have dropped the thermos coffee and kick in for K-Cups even though they are pricy. I showed the guys the reusable filter and they now all want them so, away we go on filter for everyone. I have used my filter for months and it is still going strong. I am now purchasing additional filters so I do not have to head for the sink as often. The unit is great!Customer Review: Really poor engineering

As many folks have already stated, makes horribly weak coffee with little to no flavor. I kept adding more coffee to the filter with no better results.
There are some tips in the reviews to improve things and I will try them, but you would think Keurig's engineers would have run this product through some tests and found out it was useless.
Also some folks said it made weak coffee and gave advice how to fix it, but still rated the product high. I don't get that. If it doesn't work "out of the box" and I have to mod it to get it to work, that's not a well made product.

This item arrived quickly and in new condition. The price was excellent. I could not have asked for a better buying experience. I have used a My K-Cup before, and it is nice to use for loose coffee in our machine.
