Was very excited to get this, but once it arrived, I was not impressed. The item is very flimsy, light and does NOT spin nicely. When you try to spin it, it kind of shakes and makes a grinding sound. I'm sorry, but to build something that spins smoothly with a decent set of bearings should not be that difficult. I only spent $15 but it's not worth even that. I do not think I got a defective one, either. From reading some of the other posts, poor quality is an ongoing theme. I'm sending mine back or I'll use it at work. Hi,
I read the reviews on this item and decided to buy it. I received the first carousel with a broken ring so I called Amazon customer service and they promptly shipped me a replacement. I received the replacement today and guess what? This one also has a broken ring.
My advise is to avoid this product as I doubt, that, even if your were able to actually receive the item in one piece, it would hold up as the spot welds that secure the rings is shoddy workmanship at best. I'm very disappointed.
