Customer Review: Okay for the money, I guess...

We just got this and so this is not a final review, however right off the bat there are things I don't like about it and want to publish:
1) Just like the Black and Decker and other models, the instructions say to only use this for 5 min. at a time! While you can squeeze a quart or so within this time if you're well organized, I don't like the idea that the motor is so weak that you are supposed to shut it down and wait a while after squeezing juice for 5 minutes.
2) This is really cheaply constructed. It is made out of very flimsy plastic, not a strong durable plastic. I feel it will probably break within a relatively short period of use. Certainly this is not something I would expect to last for several years.
3) You still have to press down on the orange with your hand with quite a bit of force. I thought the whole idea of an electric juicer was to eliminate a lot of the work. They should design it such that a lever system keeps the orange pushed down, not your muscles.
However, this did a good job of juicing the first time we used it and I expect it will continue to do a good job, I just question for HOW LONG it will last based on how cheaply it is made and how weak the motor is.
Frankly if I had known how cheaply this is made and that it can only be run for 5 min., I'd have waited and bought a stronger one even if I had to pay more. It's too much trouble to send back, so we'll consider it a lesson to go LOOK at something like this before ordering it online. I regret having not done so.
If I can update this review after a few months or so, I will. And if I'm wrong and it lasts a couple years, I will happily say I was wrong.
