Customer Review: DON'T LET THE FIZZ FIZZLE
Summary: 4 Stars

I used to buy my fizz keepers from the mall. Today, they are hard to find. God bless Amazon !

Customer Review: waste of money.
Summary: 2 Stars

I bought one of these some time ago. I was never really satisfied with it. I'll start first by saying that it does sort of work to help keep your soda fizzy, if the bottle is mostly full, and if you don't drink it fast enough... even that will begin to taste like it's gone slowly stale. second, once the bottle is low, no amount of pumping will save your soda.
so in conclusion, this gizmo will save you maybe a serving or 2 before you dump the rest of the bottle anyway.

Customer Review: Fizz LOSER not fizz keeper!
Summary: 1 Stars

This is a bad concept from the start! Buy the Soda Dispenser The Soda Dispenser by Jokari instead. Anything that opens the soda bottle to atmosphere more than one time or pumps AIR into the bottle LOSES the fizz because air is MORE soluble in water than carbon dioxide is. The air that you let or pump into the bottle goes into solution in the formerly carbonated water and drives the carbon dioxide out of the water as a gas. THAT is how and WHY your lungs work. If this didn't happen you wouldn't be alive! Then, every time you tip the open bottle to pour out some of the soda, you also pour out all of the carbon dioxide gas that is on top of the soda in the bottle and let MORE fresh air into the bottle to drive even MORE carbon dioxide out of the soda liquid. In your body that is what's known as breathing! Furthermore, pumping air into the bottle with the pump action of this only makes matters worse because it forces even more air into the bottle to displace the carbon dioxide from the soda liquid. In your body that is what's known as artificial respiration! Water that is saturated with AIR doesn't taste fizzy, it tastes FLAT!

Customer Review: Items Sold Were Defective As Per The Manufacturer!
Summary: 1 Stars

Very simply, I bought two of these during the Holidays for stocking stuffers. Each recipient said that the item broke within 2-3 weeks. The concept is great but the actual product is made from very thin plastic. Both times the product broke at the hinge, rendering it useless.

I called the Seller (Organize-Everything.com) and was told that they are unable to go beyond their 30 day replacement or return policy. Well, I am rather relentlous, and as a matter of principle I called the manufacturer. The manufacturer (Jokari) explained that they received a batch of defective product. They were very helpful and are sending the replacements.

No stars for the seller because they did not want to be bothered with having to replace a defective product that they knew was defective from all the phone calls they have received in the past months, and instead made me do all the leg work.

There is also something to be said about those of us who do early Holiday shopping in November, and are shut out by many sellers because the gift is not given until 30 days after purchase.
