we are a young family with 2 kids and have used this blender at least 3 times a week for around 10 years. I bought it when we were in college and could not afford anything else. It works pretty well, although it doesn't really blend ice very well. we've used it for salsas, smoothies, spices and everything you can think of. Well worth the price. My wife wants a vitamix but i'm just too cheap to shell out the cash for a blender.. i think i'll try a mid garde one and see how it goes.Customer Review: Use it almost everyday

I think this is a very good blender. I have not had any issues with it yet. The last Oster blender I had stopped working only after a few uses. This one I use almost everyday to make smoothies and it is still running like a champ. It is not as powerful as my last one and does tend to get stuck a lot, but at least it is still working! I have ebeen using this product for last 9 years. I replaced motor 3 times. So one machine for 3 years in this price is not a bad deal. This time, I had chopper attachment and glass blender jar from previous one so I just needed motor. It's bit noisy but does a good job.
