It comes with a suggestion recipe book to let you know that juicing is just not for juicing. There's recipes for dressings and soups as well which I thought was really cool. Especially for a first time juicer like me. The price is well worth it too. To me it's actually a steal. This is my first juicer, so this decision was as nerve racking as buying my first car or first house. I finally came to the conclusion that it was now or never and I'll take the loss. I think I did extremely well with this. My girlfriend was always coming over to use mine because she thought she couldn't afford one like this yet. When I told her the price, she was astounded. That is because, it juices fruits n veggies whole. As long as it can fit in the tube you don't have to cut anything down. Just don't trie pits and I'm wondering about nuts. I got this juicer for a fast I was doing! I love it! I had bought a cheaper one and it is amazing how much juice you get out of fruits and veggies when you have a good juicer. Menu book is filled with great ideas and it talks about juicing. Did you know apples are the only fruit you can mix with veggies without making you sick. Jack must know seeing he is still alive and kicking! My favorite juice to make is Carrot, Ginger root and Apples! I swear my eyesite is getting better. I also went on line and found recipes for reducing sicknesses like Cancer.
Costco offers this same juicer for $80.00!! The only con is there is a little rubber stopper plug that can be lost if not careful. I had to order a replacement from website which was easy.
You will not go wrong with this product!

I really enjoy the Jack Lalanne juicer. I find it very well made and easy to clean although it takes a few minutes to do so.
I just spray it with kitchen sink sprayer and that's it. I'm a chronic pain sufferer and I have to take medicines that at times bind me up.
Since I've been using this product my fiber intake has gone up considerably which has solved this problem. And their are obviously many other health benefits of juiceing.
The one draw back is you have to be careful of your calorie intake because of the sugars you will naturaly get from some of the fruits.
I do believe that the benefits far out way the draw backs as long as your aware of them and I highly recommend juiceing as well as this product.

I'm usually intimidated by new appliances, etc. so this juicer was in the box close to a month before I even took it out. This juicer is very easy to use, and comes assembled, so I was pleased. I have only used it once, but I am very delighted with it. It comes with 2 recipe booklets for making a variety of juices, plus recipes for healthy, whole grain muffins and cakes using the pulp. Use the food pusher as instructed so the veggies don't pop back out. Also for ease of cleaning it is suggested to line the pulp collector with a plastic bag. There is cleaning involved but to be expected and comes with the easy tool to disassemble the blade, I would buy it again in a second. Particularly great if you have your own garden and an excess of vegetables.Customer Review: FABULOUS JUICER!

This machine exceeded my expectations! It is unbelievably quiet, the juice is yummy & healthy, the pulp is good for smoothies & soups, and cleanup is a piece of cake -- nothing is greasy, so you just scrape the pulp into your storage container, rinse the parts, brush the screen with the included veggie brush, & put it in the dish drainer. Why bother with the dishwasher? One tip: buy the cheap bags of the little apples. Another tip: if multiple people want different kind of juices, do the simple sweet ones first, followed by anything savory or exotic -- then clean just once. My goal is to use it at least once a day ... I think I'll go buy some tomatoes right now!
