Im sure there are better juicers out there but this one is cheap and it does a good job. Its better then my old waring juicer and easier to clean. Some of these people who are giving bad reviews I dont think have used juicers before. You always have to clean out a juicer, thats normal.
If someone ever invents one that doesnt require you to take it apart and clean it Im sure they will be a millionare.
Anyway 100 bucks to be healthy? Its way worth it. By the way I had no problem doing tons of carrots, it doesnt do really well with softer things but firm fruits and veggies were fine, for leafy veggies I followed them with a firmer thing like a carrot.

I purchased my juicer back in 2007. Use it 3 to 4 times a week for fresh juices. It benefits me for veggies that I normally dont eat. I feel so much better since starting drinking juices. I felt so good juicing that when a relative was telling me about feeling tired and run down I decided to buy one for him. He is liking it.......so I am just waiting for him to say he feels much better.
The only thing I have replaced is the blade in 4 years, so to me this was a great bargain.Total Juicing Book - Elaine LaLanne, Richard Benyo and Jack LaLanne

Purchase a JLPJB Power Juicer Juicing machine on the advice of David Murdoch, CEO of Dole,
who at 87 years old, juices several times a day, on this JLPJB with Zero problems.
We chop up all the produce to be fed into the machine, et Voila: Super Nutritious
Liquid nutrients! Saves the time and energy spent chewing! Juicing is now part of my daily
routine also. "Dine & 'Whine'" reviews are just that --Any machine you purchase will require
some care and cleaning. The bottom line is, that the JLPJB does exactly what it states it will do;
it gets the job done!

In the last 12 years I have bought three juicers. 1st Jacks, 2nd one that was 50% more promised it was better and of course turned out to be a pile, large mouth cut in half by large v intruding into neck? Extremely difficult to clean, tried to return immediately warehouse would not honor guarantee?
Not completely satisfied with purchase but has nothing to do with Jacks wonderful Juicer, was promised free shipping but evidently with one click you don't get it and immediately can't change status of order. So I had to pay an outrageous delivery fee.

I recently got sucked into an infomercial late Saturday night. I liked the idea of more fruits and vegetables in their natural state. I found the power juicer at Kohl's on sale and with on extra 20% off it was around $80. I have juiced a lot of items and only found a problem with sweet potatoes so far. Unlike the infomercial, it is not a juicy vegetable and I wouldn't recommend it. It could clog the filter and possibly jam the machine. I purchased the original power juicer as opposed to the deluxe or pro. I didn't feel the extra cost was necessary. I would recommend this machine.
