I have a pug and have found that these come in handy when cleaning his nasal folds. The wooden stick is much sturdier than the regular paper or plastic ones that sometimes tend to bend with the slightest pressure. The longer length helps me to not "smother" my pooch with my hand while swabbing his little facial fat rolls. Have also used a few to cleaning/dust electronic devices.
