I personally have never owned a Henckel's knife before, but from what I have been told by others it is the knife to beat all other knives. At the price this knife is being sold for now it is impossible to say no. This is coming from a college student, and as you know when you are in college you have to conserve your money for other things. This product is bettter than any other knife on the market in this prize zone. Buy it now.Customer Review: Best set of knives for the price!

I bought these knives for my mother-in-law for Mother's Day. I love them! My own set of knives is the Henckels set from Costco. They are always needing sharpening, and even then I can't get them sharp like these ones are. I wish I could trade mine in!
I think these are a much better value, and include more knives that I would actually use. They don't look as nice, but they get the job done.

Received this item for Christmas present. At first I was concerned by the very light-weight handles, but after using the knives many times, I am convinced they are very good quality. They are very sharp and clean well in the dishwasher. I was so happy to throw out my old set and replace them with this one. I had an old set of these knives, and over the years, they disappeared one by one. I looked at all the local stores to find a replacement set, to no avail. Luckily I thought to look in Amazon, and sure enough, there they were. I probably should have ordered 2 sets, but I'm going to guard these. These knives are quite nice for the price. Sure, they are not the quality of a Henckel's professional set, but what do you people expect for less than $50?
I admit, these do not feel as solid and as nice as the higher end models but they stay sharp and do the job well when you're on a budget.
