Customer Review: Stop looking, Buy this!

My wife and I love to cook (you can TELL just by looking at us). We buy and try more cooking stuff than just about anyone else I know. PLUS, I am an Environmental Specialist with the Florida Department of Health with most of my 38+ years experience in Food Epidemiology, Food Facility Inspection and Education. I tell you this so you know that I know "a little" about what I am talking about. MANY things I buy, end up being a disappointment. This Henckels Roaster is NOT one of them! I am quite serious when I say that if you are looking for a good quality roasting pan - you have found it. Time to go ahead and buy it (You can spend much MORE money on one and NOT get a better pan). The even heat that it allows improves the uniform cooking of your food. THAT is worth the price alone. But FURTHER it is designed to be easier to clean. The coved edges and corners are well done and make it hard for food debris to hide (The "Inspector" is coming out of me). The mirror finish also makes it easier to clean. DON'T use steel wool or other harsh abrasives to clean it. You won't need to and you will ruin the finish! Enjoy your cooking!

J.A. Henckels International Classic Clad 16-Inch Roaster with non-stick adjustable rack is manufactured using tri-ply clad material. The aluminum material in the center is an excellent heat conductor, which provides even heat distribution in the pan. BeWith a non-stick adjustable rack that fits inside, this 16-by-13-by-3-1/2-inch pan is ready for roasting any size turkey or ham, with room for plenty of potatoes on the side. Lifting the pan when full is facilitated by the square handles on each end, riveted for strength. Clad in gleaming stainless steel, the pan is constructed with an inner core of aluminum across the bottom and up the sides for efficient, even cooking at low to medium temperatures. Whisks, spoons, and cleaning brushes all glide smoothly along the curved inner contour of the pot, and the flared rim facilitates pouring.
J.A. Henckels International, the economical division of Zwilling J.A. Henckels, makes the stylish and durable Classic Clad series for serious home cooks. As well as being oven- and broiler-safe up to 500 degrees F, each brightly polished pot or pan features a magnetic stainless-steel exterior safe for all types of stovetop burners: gas, electric, ceramic, induction, and halogen. The 18/10 stainless-steel interior resists sticking, won't react to acidic foods, and welcomes metal utensils. Henckels recommends washing Classic Clad pieces by hand to retain the mirror finish, and covers the cookware with a lifetime warranty against defects.
