I got this for $82 shipped. Unfortunately, a week later it was $60 shipped. Oh well. In any event, these have a very nice polished finish and very nice weighty feel. The knives are the claim to fame as they have the unusual handle that makes them stand up.
These weren't my first design choice (I like modern minimalism), but the more modern sets cost way more from quality manufacturers. Sure, these are made in China or wherever, but I thought they'd make a nice 'my first set of grown up silverware.' Plus I already had the Henckel 8 pc steak knife set.

Everyone compliments me on my flatware. The contemporary design instantly piques interests. They are elegant and light and feel quite comfortable in your hands. They've been washed over and over again in the dishwasher and they're still as polished and new-looking as the day they arrived. I would definitely recommend this set. It's an expensive-looking, inexpensive quality flatware set. I also love the fact that they fit perfectly together in the organizer.

This set is both gorgeous and practical. It seems as many people have concerns over the knife because it sits on edge on the table. It does have a tendency to drop or slide off because it is so much heavier than many other sets. I absolutely love this set. Plus, I have washed them in the dishwasher for well over 10 months and haven't seen any damage. But, I also don't use lemon based dish detergent. Excellent set of utensils. The pieces are lightweight but made of high quality steel. The knives are stylish and a bit thicker than the other pieces. I have not had issues with the knives sliding off or not being able to stay on the plate.
I have owned this set for 3-4 months now and I have not had any issues wih stains or rust.
Great quality and great value. Highly recommended.

We registered for 2 of these sets for our wedding about a year ago. We got both and have used them heavily, cleaning them mostly in the dishwasher. They've held up beautifully. They are basically in as good of condition as they were when we bought them. I am someone who relies heavily on consumer reviews before I buy things, which is what led me to these. Don't hesitate, they're great!
