I received the set in April and so far so good. I was a bit hesitant about ordering it because my friend has an Oneida set that rusted after a few cycles in the dishwasher. I hardly use my dishwasher because there aren't many people to justify running a full load when I can just wash after every meal--so I cannot rate how this set stands against multiple dishwashing loads; I would imagine it doesn't rust either way. I was looking for something contemporary and liked the design on this to match the square Corelle dishes I ordered. The set is different in that its butter knives are different from other sets because they stand on their own. If you want something simple and modern, this is a good quality set.Customer Review: Bellasera is a beautiful set of flatware!

When refurbishing my kitchen, I had to have a new flatware set to replace my old. I scouted flatware sets online and found J.A. Henckels Bellasera 45-Piece set, service for 8. My husband and I agreed the lines were elegant and went with our kitchen (flattened end), and I was really impressed with the knife and how different it was shaped; slightly turned handle. I found the price and quality to look superb and ordered it. I was even more pleased when I received it! I love the looks ... I would recommend this set to anyone looking for a different flatware set - not traditional, just beautifully elegant.

After seeing this Bellasera set at Macy's, I ordered two sets from Amazon to replace my 20+ year old set of Reed & Barton flatware. (I loved my R&B set, but the finish was failing after so many years of use.) I am very happy with the quality of the Bellasera -- it has a good weight (not too heavy and not too light) and a comfortable fit.
Other 18/10 SS sets I liked would have cost at least $800 for a set of 16, so I'm very happy to have paid less than $120 for the same number of pieces. I'm not sure if this set would last 20+ years, but I'm pretty sure I'll have it for many years.

We purchased 16 placesettings of Bellasera when we married 2 years ago. Today's Amazon price is a bargain. I might buy another set! It has held up well to hand washing and to the dishwashing machine. Maintains its beautiful luster. No rusting or pitting. We wanted something different, and the knife is what sold us on this pattern. Shoppers considering Henckels products should be aware Bellasera comes from the "twins" line--their premium products. If you see Henckels products with a logo of a single "person" (instead of twins), that means the products come from their "value" line.Customer Review: JA Henckels Bellasera Flatware

I absolutely love this flatware and so does my wife. We're actually looking to buy another set for our downstairs kitchen. This is our second JA Henckel set of flatware. We had a very similar set we purchased in 2002. We still have it and it looks surprisingly good after 7+ years. An SOS pad works great once they get a little scratched and scuffed. It gives them a brushed nickel look, but they look like new if you make all of your strokes in the same direction. I will never buy another brand. Great weight and love the design. We get complements on our set all of the time.
