The Henckels 2-piece mincing set works great for fine chopping of herbs. It is the sharpest one I have seen. I agree with some of the reviews that state it is hard at times to distinguish the handle from the blade when you quickly pick it up, so you have to be very aware of this to ensure you don't grabe the sharp cutting blade end instead of the handle. I have been keeping mine in the lightweight cardboard sleeve that it came in. It would be helpful to have a good, strong plastic sleeve to put over the cutting blades. I haven't tried chopping nuts with this cutter, but think it would do a fantastic job.Customer Review: Just what I was looking for

This looks like it's going to be a much used and loved item for making salads and cooking with herbs. I find the solidly built quality excellent and the size and weight of it just right. I'm glad the bowl in the wooden block is large enough to accomodate lots of herbs and that there are little "feet" on the bottom so it won't slip around. Can't wait to grow some more herbs this summer for mincing up. The knife and board also are quite a work of art in their own right.Customer Review: Another "must have"

Just got this today and couldn't wait to try it out. The weight and quality of the bowl is perfect, with feet to keep it in place - and the blades - what's to say? - they're Henckels - well balanced and quite sharp. I use a lot of fresh herbs and this made short work of the prep. Very nicely designed and quality made. I'm wondering now how I lived without this in my kitchen and am ordering several for Christmas gifts. Great product and an excellent buy for the money!Customer Review: Handy and quick

I use this anytime I need to chop more than a little bit of herbs. The double blades are nice and sharp, and it powers through whatever job I set it to. My favorite is chopping lots of rosemary for rosemary scones. Chopping all that with a regular knife always took me forever, and little bits of rosemary kept flying everywhere. The rounded 'well' on this block helps keep everything contained.Customer Review: Great kitchen addition!

I received mine as a gift and enjoyed using it so much I gave one as a gift to a friend. It's perfect for mincing fresh herbs from the garden. I first saw it being used in a cooking class and thought it was a "must have" in the home gourmet chef's kitchen. I like the curved bowl and the one-hand handle on the mincer. Great product and fun to use!
