We recently upgraded our kitchen knives and soon found the need to store them. We didn't like the big blocks that you set on the counter to store knives because it takes up valuable counter space. At first, I was a bit reluctant to spend this kind of money for something to store knives. But once we put it in our drawer and placed the knives in the slots, I was very impressed. The quality is superb and it really looks nice. It certainly beats just throwing your good knives in the drawer. Ouch!Customer Review: Perfect solution for my knives!

This knife tray is exactly what I was looking for, even though I didn't know it. I had been keeping all of my knives loose in a drawer, and it seemed like I had to be careful not to get cut every time I reached in the drawer. For space and safety reasons, I did not want a knife block on the counter. This contains all of my knives, except for a few cheapy, small paring knives. The drawer looks neat and tidy, and the knives are easy to get in and out of their slots. Works perfectly for me!Customer Review: much better than last one

Had another knife holder that kept getting caught on the top side of the drawer when we pulled it out. We had to stick our fingers into the tiny opening and push the knife ends down to get the drawer open. Finally I got frustrated enough to look for a new one and found this. This is so much nicer! It fits in the drawer well, sits way down in it. The knives all fit in there even though none of ours are Henckels. I am very satisfied with this product. I had previously had a magnetic bar knife holder but was getting tile on the walls and didnt want to detract from that by having a hodgepodge of knives hanging there. I cleaned out a small "junk" drawer and this knife holder fit in there perfectly. Its very practically designed, attractive (although it is in a drawer so thats not a big deal) Its easy to get the knives in and out. Great overall! Solved all my problems.Customer Review: J.A. I've had the knife tray for at least 5 years and I use this knife tray to hold my 12 Cutco steak knives. The knife tray is cheaper than the Cutco brand and it seems to hold twice the knives in half the space, because of the second level. I like this so much (thank goodness they didn't change it), I recently purchased another one (along with 6 Cutco knives) as a present. The extra slots can be used for other knives.
