This is a great little tray. It is plastic but pretty rugged. I have used mine many times with no mishaps. The lid makes it so easy to transport your deviled eggs without smashing or spilling them. However, this price is high. I got the exact same tray at Family Dollar for $2 bucks. You can also order them in sets of two from HarrietCarter.com for around $5.00 per set. I liked mine so much, I bought another. I highly recommend this item.Customer Review: Works well, smaller than advertised.

The container works fine. My only real complaint was the description. It says "holds 24 eggs...fill up the center with more eggs or garnishes". One would assume that meant that there were 24 slots for eggs plus the center. Instead there are only 15 slots and you have to cram the rest in the center. I chose this one over others because what I thought was additional capacity, that wasn't true.
