Got to agree that if you get a quality one, that they are beautiful, but consumers should be aware that things that are promoted heavily as medical aids/devices, should be taken WITH A GRAIN OF SALT!
And with Salt Lamps you get what you pay for. Low prices typically get you plain bases and don't have the safety plates you can find on those that cost just a bit more.
