I received this only today and we have already sat down to fresh corn tortillas for our lunch. I rate this highly for ease of use, good instructions and fantastic results. I had already purchased some masa harina and it mixed and pressed perfectly. The packaging was great and only a quick hot hand wash to ensure the presevat was removed - not that it was noticeable. Definitely use plastic as recommended and you can't go wrong. No more tortillas full of preservatives for this family!Customer Review: Works great for me!

The one I received had little grease on it, not that it would have bothered me much anyway.
It also presses the tortillas paper thin. In fact, I had to be careful not to get them too thin at first.
Recommend lining each side with plastic when pressing. Then transfer pressed tortilla to a piece of wax paper then onto the grill. That's just the easiest way we found to tranfer them.
Served warm with some queso fresca - yum!

The tortilla press works perfectly, after a little practice. Our first batch was an experiment that gave us the correct pressure to apply along with the time and heat to cook the tortillas. We also found that cutting the sides of a freezer storage bag to provide a surface for the pressed tortillas worked best for lining the tortilla press. We just had a fiesta and served a large batch of homemade tortillas, thanks to the Victoria Cast Iron Tortilla Press.Customer Review: Simple and does the job.

We bought this tortilla press 2 years ago and use it often. It is a simple design that is easy to use. We cut apart a 1 gallon size plastic freezer bag and use it as a liner that keeps the press clean and makes it super simple to make and transfer the tortillas. It's become the one gadget that everyone wants to use. The kids take turns getting to make their own which makes for a funner family dinner time.Customer Review: Great product!

I have been wanting a press for awhile now and when I found this one I snapped it up. It was a great price for a cast iron press. I have used it often since I received it and I love it. I found that putting the dough just off center toward the hinge side works best for a round tortilla. Too close to the lever side and you squish the dough out the sides. Overall a great buy. Love it.
