We read the reviews for this product and decided to give it a try despite the few people who had problems. I found that we can get two cups out of one brew by putting two Tbs. of coffee in the coffeeduck and LIGHTLY tamping it down. I have had the leaking happen when I tamp too firmly. We are very happy with this purchase overall and are very happy to be free of the expensive pods!Customer Review: Nancy

Works great just as advertised. We just wanted a good cup of coffee without having to pay a premium for the pods, which are a little difficult to find in our area. We don't buy special coffee or do any additional grinding. I read lots of reviews and think some people are making this too hard. I love this little duck! It couldn't be easier. I read one review stating that there is resistance when closing the lid. Be sure to check that you are using a fine grind coffee, that you haven't over-filled the filter, and that there are no grounds on the rim of the duck. You should feel no resistance. I really enjoy this gadget. I am very picky about my coffee, own a burr grinder etc. The pods Senseo make are quite acceptable, but expensive, and I like to experiment with blends (except for "flavoured" coffees which IMHO are a really, really bad idea, euchhh) so this is a nice addition to my collection of coffee-brewing gear.Customer Review: Convienient cost saving device

The Duck makes the Sanseo coffee maker an awesome espresso machine. It is easy to use and clean. No tamping of the coffee required. I just fill it to near the top with some finely ground brazillian coffee, and press the 2 cup button. Out comes a perfect espresso with a creme top. Problem now is I can't sleep at night.
