Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Coffeeduck Classic: Permanent Refillable Coffee Filter for the Senseo models HD7810-HD7812Customer Review: Just wonderful!! Summary: 5 Stars
I have a My Pod but was never satisfied by the coffee it produced or the way it interacted with my Senseo. It was watery, didn't work half the time, and I had to watch the machine like a hawk to determine when to turn it off, as it would just keep pushing water through. I decided to try my luck again with the Coffeeduck, and it is SO worth the money. It works wonderfully and produces a delicious cup of coffee that has a bit of froth, which I really forgot that I missed. You can just push the one or two cup button and it will automatically turn off when it's done. Bonus: no messing with little filters like the My Pod. You just rinse the two parts off, and that's it. I couldn't be happier. The Coffeeduck rocks!!
Customer Review: Coffee for the CoffeeDuck Summary: 5 Stars
After having bought the CoffeeDuck, used it, and become disappointed with it, - I am in love with it again. I LOVE the Senseo dark roast coffee pods, they taste like coffee in Holland, but they are NOT cheap. All hands down - If you like this type of coffee flavor - go to Ikea and buy a bag of their ground espresso coffee. It is FAR cheaper than the coffee pods. Ikea's espresso coffee is ground and roasted from beans in the Netherlands, and from what I can tell, may actually be Douwe Egberts coffee. The best part is the crema - it is rich and thick - just like the coffee pod. It must have something to do with the way coffee is ground there.
Go out and buy some Ikea ground espresso !!!!!
Customer Review: Works as it Should! Summary: 5 Stars
Purchased a Senseo as a gift for my husband, who is a coffee lover, but who I also knew wouldn't always be apt to purchase the pods to have on hand. I thought this would be great to go with it so that he could use it with whatever coffee he chooses, at the quality that he prefers, and at any time he wishes. I just hoped that it would work well for him - and sure enough he loves it! Almost never have any of the Senseo pods on hand - as predicted - so this has been used often and is a great value! (Especially compared to the price of pods.) Plus allows more variety when you can use coffee you prefer, which also gives different options to guests. Would definitely recommend.
Customer Review: Finally came around Summary: 5 Stars
It took me about a month to come around and appreciate this product. After my espresso machine broke, I ended up using the Coffeeduck to brew espresso in my Senseo. It didn't work too well at first because it seemed that the star-shaped piece of plastic was covering the hole at the bottom of the "duck." After rotating it slightly, the coffee brews much better, and there is even a small amount of crema that wasn't there before. Another bonus of the Coffeeduck is that I don't get that taste of paper that sometimes comes along with using coffee pods with paper filters.
Customer Review: excellent product Summary: 5 Stars
We Norwegians are drinking more coffee than anyone else in the world (see link below) , so when I moved to the USA I needed to find a way of making inexpensive and good coffee for the home...

The wife found a Senseo coffeemaker at a secondhand store here, and combined with the Coffeeduck we have exactly what we need and we can serve freshly brewed coffee to ourselves and to guests at any time.
Have used the duck for about a month now, for an average of 6-7 coffee mugs a day.
Absolutely no problems so far.
