Had this item for approximately 6 months and it broke in a stiff wind. Granted it had clothes on it, so I purchased a more expensive one and paid shipping on it and it has lasted me a whole two months. We don't live in a very windy area and I don't over load the thing. Using it almost daily, a bit fiddly to open, and the arms feel flimsy, but if handled with care should last. I put mine in a large plant container filled with broken concrete - mobile if need be with a hand truck (e.g. to garage for indoor drying in rainy weather). This is a very good value. Delivery was prompt, and even though I haven't dug a hole and put cement in to create a long term base/support - I was able to put the dryer pole into the base of my Patio Umbrella stand - as long as you don't put too many clothes on and the breeze isn't greater than 10 miles an hour - potentially could tip over...so dig the hole and make it permanent.
This was easy to set up... cause there is NO SET UP... just push the bars up and it locks into place. Very lightweight in design, non-rusting aluminium and strong cross clothes line - with ooooodles of room for at least 4 loads of laundry.
And you can easily take it down and store it in the closet - so there is no eye sore in your yard for the neighbors to complain about.
All in all, a very good value, great product, and everyone should use one instead of their gas/electric dryer... it will save you lots of money... and the best thing of all... your clothes will SMELL AMAZING!!!! You should order one TODAY!
