Customer Review: Loved it - for 6 months, then the waterproofing wore off

Loved the shower curtain - the window let in light, & allowed the kids to come into the bathroom on occasion without loss of privacy. I washed it about once a month. All of a sudden, after about 6 months, it completely lost the waterproofing. I will have to replace it now, but I can't just add a liner because of the hookless design. Will have to replace the whole thing, but I hate to lose my window :-(
This was my first fabric shower curtain, so I'm not sure if the waterproofing always wears off after a while....
