This is the best fan for white noise that I can find. It's small, powerful, and best of all, it's loud!! I can have kids, babies, even myself, sleep through construction in the basement when this fan is on. I love it! Best of all, I can't hear my husband snore when this fan is on!! I bought two of these thinking I was getting a steal... It is a smaller version of the one that I was thinking of.
it serves its purpose, but is not what I really wanted or expected.
I really purchased it for white noise... to fall asleep. I know it sounds weird but it helps me block out distractions while I sleep.
Since it is so small the noise was minimal compared to the bigger size I am used to.

We got this fan to circulate air during summer.
It does the work very well, but it's very loud. Even on it's lowest setting is so loud that we can't sleep when it's on.
The fan is very durable - we have it more than a year and it's still working great, like new.
It's light - you can move it easily.
The fan is small - it's not difficult to find a spot for it.
If you are OK with the noise - this is a great little fan for you; but if noise is bothering you - then you should continue browsing and get some other fan.
