I bought these specifically because they are loud. They provide good white noise for the whole family to sleep by. Don't have to worry about waking the kids when we're getting ready in the morning, etc. If the kids are hot at night, they point the air flow directly at them, and it blows good enough to help keep them cool.

With Turbo grille design, it's powerful enough to use as a whole room air circulator or for Direct Focused cooling. With a sturdy base that includes a wall mounting feature, this sleek, black, compact high performance fan can be used virtually anywhere. Honeywell's Turbo Force blade technology uses a specially designed blade which is proven to move more air. This provides maximum cooling power, and allows rapid cooling comfort for you.Cool off during the hot days of summer with this powerful turbo fan from Honeywell. The .52-amp fan sits alone or can be wall-mounted to provide a steady breeze. Tilting back 90 degrees, the fan also enhances air circulation in stagnant rooms and can assist in clearing smoke or hot air out of a room when pointed away from the room in question. Sleek in design, the compact fan fits into most interior design motifs.
The fan features a convex grill to protect the high velocity blades and allow air to flow unhindered. A powers the fan. Three power settings offer flexibility for different cooling and environmental needs, including quiet operation with the lowest setting. The fan travels easily from one room to the next with the use of the convenient carrying handle. For mounting the fan, hardware must be purchased separately. Use a dry soft cloth to clean the fan.
