Customer Review: Not as good as the older ones.

I have 3 of these fans. They are used throughout the house to move air. I'm a bit disappointed in that the new fans are not as powerful or well built as the older ones of the same model. I've had 2 of these for about 5 years, one finally died last fall. I was very happy with the performance/size/value so I ordered 2 more. The new ones look exactly the same but they do not move as much air as the older one that is still running after 5 years. I'd say they push about 75% of what the older one does. Also, the plastic is softer, the old one is much more rigid. I double the newer ones will take the abuse that the older ones did. These are small fans, but not quiet on the high setting. Although they are quieter than most steel bladed fans. For the money, these are still nice little fans but I wish they had the performance and quality of the older ones.

Honeywell's Turbo Force blade technology uses a specially designed blade which is proven to move more air. This provides maximum cooling power, and allows rapid cooling comfort for you.Cool off during the hot days of summer with this powerful turbo fan from Honeywell. The .52-amp fan sits alone or can be wall-mounted to provide a steady breeze. Tilting back 90 degrees, the fan also enhances air circulation in stagnant rooms and can assist in clearing smoke or hot air out of a room when pointed away from the room in question. Sleek in design, the compact fan fits into most interior design motifs.
The fan features a convex grill to protect the high velocity blades and allow air to flow unhindered. A powers the fan. The fan travels easily from one room to the next with the use of the convenient carrying handle. For mounting the fan, hardware must be purchased separately. Use a dry soft cloth to clean the fan.
