Hey! what can I say, It's a Honeywell fan. This is my second stand fan from Honeywell. I will never buy another. I have tried a bigger fan that I paid a lot more for with more power, and the Honeywell out preformed it by a long shot. Thumbs up all the way with Honeywell. Every other review which mentions noise is 100% accurate. This fan is loud. No, loud isn't the right word. This fan roars. It sounds like a darn engine -- and that's at the lowest speed! Forget about putting one of these in your living room or anywhere you need to hear anything. People seeking "whisper-quiet" or something that can be turned on and not noticed should move along. This fan is the polar opposite of quiet.
Assembly: The fan comes disassembled to reduce box size. Assembly is easy and can be performed in minutes. The hardest part was getting the batteries into the remote. There is a manual but you won't need it.
Fan Controls: Speeds are: low, medium, and high. There is a breeze option that is more annoying than useful. During "breeze", the fan starts and stops in a pathetic attempt to simulate a breeze passing by. There is also a timer option which will turn the fan off in 2, 4, or 8 hrs.
Remote: It works from across a room. It needs line of sight to work though. Takes 2 x AAA batteries (included).
The base is wide and supports the fan well. It won't be tipping over any time soon. Power cord is about 3ft long.
Overall, am happy with the fan...despite the noise. Just be aware that you aren't getting a whisper-quiet fan with the HFS641P, you are getting a loud but very powerful fan that can really move some air.

This fan works great. The only problem is my DirectTV remote must be on the same frequency because whenever I turn up the volume the fan changes modes. Kind of annoying but the fan works so well, I can let it go.Customer Review: Serves the purpose

Its a pretty good value for money. The 3 different speeds is specially good and meets to different needs. This was delivered on time and nicely packed. Assembly instructions are simple and straight forward.
The connection between the two rods could have been little firm, some time it feels as if it may break (just the feel). I have a a bit high bed so would have loved if the fan height was another 3 inch more. Overall its a good deal.
