I bought this because my boyfriend was keeping me up with his sniffles and sneezes due to allergies. I have two cats and my room seems to collect a lot of dust. This worked immediately. The power had gone out and I forgot to turn it back on, my BF woke up sneezing again. I turned it on and with in 15min he cleared up. I've also noticed that the dust collection in my room is minimal.
Perks; It's really quiet on low, acts as a fan on high. It's tall and narrow so it won't take up too much room in the corner. Once you buy this you won't have to spend any more money on replacement filters.
