Customer Review: I'm glad it's what I really wanted

Finding this item took a little hunting around. You see, the picture shown is not the HC-14. I don't know what the item being shown is, but the HC-14 actually has the "Air Wash Technology" thin blue filter around the white honey-combed item that is pictured.
I was revealed when it arrived that it was what I REALLY wanted. That is why I'm rating it a 4 and not a 5.
As far as the Filter itself, the one that originally came with my Humidifier (which is identical), lasted a good year. I did take it out from time to time, and wash it in vinegar water; and I did NOT replace it like they suggested (I didn't need to!).
I can tell you when you NEED to replace the filter. It will be humming right along, then one day, you think, "My, I haven't filled the reservoirs in quite some time..." (Because normally, I'm filling one of them almost every other day - then all of a sudden it's weeks). That is when you'll know.
