I bought this for a specialized purpose: to keep my rock climbing rope from tangling during washing. I tucked the rope loosely inside this bag, tossed it in my old top-loading washer, added a mild soap, and washed it on a normal cycle. The rope came out clean, with no tangles or damage. Works well. The quality of this bag is good, especially considering the price and the free shipping, from A-Prime. But the one I recieved is not red. It is bright safety vest orange. From this company orange is not currently an option so I am guessing it is described incorretly rather than shipped incorrectly.
