This pillow is perfect for someone who is a side sleeper. You can wear it over your shoulder in a messenger bag fashion or strap it to your seatback. Then you can snuggle into it as you would if you were laying down. It prevents you from slumping into your neighbor and it won't slide away from you like the airline pillows always do. I liked it so much I bought one for my husband. He liked it so much we bought them for our son and daughter-in-law to use when flying to Europe. We all find them to be far superior than the u shaped pillows. People on the plane ask about them and we send them to Amazon. 9+ hour flight coming up and was looking for something to help with sleeping. I've tried those U shaped pillows and they just don't work for me, so I tried this based on another review. Hubby says I was out within 30 minutes of take off. Completely slept through the drink service. Slept with it on the way home, and was sitting next to a 2 year old. If you are a leaner to sleep...this is your product. Rolls up small too, fits easily in my back pack. I didn't even need to use the strap, it stayed in place and I was out like a light. Highly recommend. Oh-and get the cover, very soft, washable if you need that and totally worth it.Customer Review: Great product!

I just used this odd travel pillow for a flight from the USA to Europe, and I was actually able to get some sleep on the plane, which has never happened before. I couldn't imagine how it could be comfortable, but it truly was. I secured the loops to the seat's headrest, and sort of hugged the pillow.. I switched sides at one point and was comfortable leaning to the other side. It inflates and deflates very quickly and easily, and rolls up for compact storage in a carry-on. Bonus: my neck didn't hurt when I reached my destination. Spills and soil wipe clean very easily from its surface. My husband and I have tried the 1st class sleeper, and the horseshoe shaped pillows, both bean filled and memory foam and have never liked anything like the TravelRest pillow. I love the fact that it wraps around the body in the front - a great angle on which to rest your head and a comfortable place for your arms. I did learn to not over inflate - just a couple of puffs is perfect. And besides the comfort, the small size and the fact that it attaches so easily to the carry-on is just an added bonus. This pillow is A-MAZE-ING! I did 310,000K miles last year in the air and have the bad back and neck to prove it. This year...I got smart and ordered the TravelRest Pillow for my treks and trips. The device is simply wonderful. I use it all the time not only on long flights to aid in my sleep and comfort but at home too. It's a great pillow to form around the body to hold a laptop or reading material. I also like it when folks stop me or reach over on a flight and ask me "where did you get that cool pillow".
