Customer Review: An innovative product that really works

For years I traveled with one of those c-shaped travel pillows and for years I complained about it. I'd usually end up sitting on the thing since it was so uncomfortable around my neck. When I happened about the TravelRest, I jumped on it. The TravelRest easily rolls up for packing, and it's just as easy to inflate (takes a couple of breaths) and deflate. For the first time, I slept through almost the entire flight, the TravelRest was that comfortable. I had a minor problem trying to open up the valve when I went to use it on my flight home. After talking with the manufacturer (wonderful, committed people who know their product inside out and are totally responsive), I learned it was user error (go figure). They walked me through what to do and I haven't had a problem since. It's a great product that I tell everyone because I love it when something works this well.Customer Review: A Confirmed Fan

Like many companies at this time, we are having to cut back on travel costs, and so all flights now have to be taken in Coach.
I bought the TravelRest Pillow in preparation to a flight to Europe, where I had to arrive and go straight into a lunchtime meeting.
I have never been that successful at sleeping on a plane, even when in business class, but this time I put in my headphones, inflated the pillow, positioned it and adjusted its pressure and was asleep soon after the plane took off. I stayed asleep for five and a half hours, I couldn't believe it... I have never slept so well on an international flight and needless to say the meeting was a success.
I would recommended the Pillow in a heartbeat to all who travel, it is such a great design that it is impossible to use it and not become a fan.

This pillow is the best inflatable pillow ever invented. I work in Afghanistan and other Middle Eastern countries and travel extensively throughout the region. This pillow is perfect for the long flights to and from the US. I have cervical disc problems and I have tried many different pillows for travel and none gives anywhere the comfort this pillow does. Additionally, I spend a lot of time traveling around the Middle East and I need to be as light as possible since I spend a lot of nights in a sort of camped out situation; again, this pillow fits the bill. It compresses to a very small size and inflates fully with 2 good breaths. I can find nothing negative to say regarding this product from the fast delivery to the durability to the many situations where I use the pillow. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this pillow! I purchased three for a trip across the pond. My mom and hubby couldn't quite get it to work for them, but they were impatient and didn't bother to play with it to see which way it worked for them. For instance, they didn't take the time to attach it and "wear" it. I did, and it is absolutely the next best thing to flying first class. When I wanted to nap, I wore it as described by hooking it around my arms. If you adjust the tension, you could even nap sitting straight up without any support that way because you pull down on the rope with your upper body weight anchoring the pillow to stay in position. I don't know if that makes sense, but it sure does work!! And when I didn't want to nap, I would wear it across my lap and to the side! Very comfortable! I just used this on a long flight from San Francisco to Shanghai, and was able to sleep pretty comfortably in coach for once. I wore it "guitar style" slung over a shoulder, and was finally able to get sufficient neck support to sleep sitting up without contorting my neck. It was easy to inflate, held its inflation pretty well over the course of the flight, and folded up again neatly when we landed. I haven't tried the fleece cover but found the sueded plastic material comfortable enough to sleep on. Especially in combination with a footrest (such as Inflatable Travel Footrest - Compact packaging easy to travel with, this pillow can make long-haul coach much more comfortable.
