Customer Review: UPDATED Review This pillow is GREAT!

I previously gave this a lesser review. That was before I was contacted by their customer service department. What a wonderful experience. I sent photos (not required) after the department had offered to immediately refund or send me a new pillow (and included a cover to compensate for the inconvenience) without requiring me to return the one with a broken snap; regardless of my having tossed the packaging. Also, they offered advice on how to use the snapless pillow in its snapless state to keep that one "functional".
I am extremely pleased. Order this product an you won't be sorry. It is a great shape that just cannot be replaced by a standard neck roll or other inflatable.
The pillow itself inflates easily, is a great shap and functional. I travel frequently and using the is pillow is the first time I have slept comfortably on a plane. When deflated, i tuck it into one of the water bottle compartments on my backpack. Fits perfectly.

Excellent alternative to all the other travel pillows out there. I know, I've tried them all. My husband and I just used our pillows on a flight from Seattle to Rio de Janeiro. It only takes a few puffs and the length of the pillow inflates. There is a cord attached that either loops around the back of your seat, or can loop over your back like a sling. You snap the bottom of the pillow around your seat belt and hold it in place. It's simple to adjust the cord so the pillow will fit snugly against the side of your head. I wrapped my arm around my pillow and I fell asleep sitting up without my head bobbing around and waking me up. It took all of a minute to deflate my pillow and wrap it up and pop it in my purse at the end of the flight.
I've traveled all over the world and long flights can be pretty miserable when you can't get comfortable enough to take a nap. That was not a problem on this trip and it won't be on future trips, because this pillow will go everywhere I go. I think it's a great gift for the traveler on your list.

I do a fair amount of traveling that involves long flights (7-22hrs), so I have been searching for something that can make these long hauls more bearable and this is definitely it. I have tried every version of those awful U-pillows but with no luck. Every one I've had, I would end up just falling over onto the stranger next to me. This comma-shaped pillow really saved my neck and I actually got some sleep! Since most modern airplanes have personal TVs on the seat back, I had to wear this guitar style. The large top allowed me to lean over more like a natural sleeping position rather than a 90 degree neck-bending like the u-pillows. The the strap looped through the seat belt held me in place as to not fall over. The added cross pillow was nice to wrap my arms around like a body pillow for even more comfort and support. The pillow itself is also very easy to inflate and rolls up nicely when deflated. If you travel a lot and hate neck pain this is the pillow for you. It may be a bit pricey but it is absolutely worth it.Customer Review: Use two pillows for ultimate comfort

I bought two TravelRest inflatable travel pillows for a trip to Israel and back to the New York. Typically, I use an inflatable c-shaped neck pillow, but I have never been very comfortable sleeping because those pillows are too big in the back of my neck. Both of my flights were overnight (9-1/2 and 11 hours). I slept better than usual on flights and did not have pain in my neck like I usually do. The pillow works best when attached to the seat belt as the instructions point out, attached both pillows after inflating them and dropped the attached strings behind my back. I liked being able to hug the two pillows in front of me. Another advantage of using two pillows is that when you want to sleep on alternative sides, you don't have to move the pillow. If you inflate just after takeoff you will want to leave some room for it to inflate more as you gain altitude or it will be too full. The pillows look a bit funny -- they remind me of bananas -- but you will be sleeping so if anyone laughs you won't even notice!Customer Review: Became my best friend on extended travel

I absolutely loved this pillow. I had to travel extensively over - 6 weeks to different countries. I needed something easy to pack and tremendously comfortable. This pillow fit the bill! I could pack it in my purse and blow it up easily. There are several different ways that you can wear the pillow and I would suggest trying it out because it took me a bit to get situated with it each time on the plane but once you get the hang of it you will LOVE IT. Much more comfortable than the traditional "stick it on your neck" pillows, you feel comforted and cozy. Not only was the pillow perfect for the plane but travel in car on bus.
Additionally and this is VERY important - they have exceptional customer service. In a time when service is constantly declining it is refreshing to find a company that actual acts as if they want customers. They are a small company and it is important to support developing companies if they have a good product and they do!
