This is one of my favorite sizes of Lock & Lock containers. It's great for leftovers and it's a handy size for storing picnic foods. The nice thing about these containers is that they're airtight and nothing spills once you've sealed them. I actually store liquids in these and turn them on their sides to make them fit between things in the fridge and there's never a drop spilled. I've used them to mix salad dressing because you can shake them without having to worry about leakage. Try that with other popular brands of plastic containers!
I have these in all sizes for pantry storage. They stack nicely and it's easy to see what's in the containers. In the refrigerator they keep foods fresh for a long time. This size is especially nice for storing blueberries. They're great in the freezer too. I've had many of my containers for 4 or 5 years and they look as good as new. The only one I've ever broken was one that I dropped after taking it out of the freezer, it was frozen and the corner cracked. Other than that, every one I have is in great condition.
