So far, so good!
I've only had it for two days, but I am very pleased.
I have started baking bread and would have nowhere else to store it properly. I made small cheese breads which I kept in the same container, separating them from the other loaf by the removable plastic divider piece that comes inside the box. I am confident that the breads will hold for the next few days at least, and it will hold better than it would covered in a baking towel or in a plastic bag, and I can put things on top of it in the pantry.
The bread I buy from the store does not contain preservatives and I had been keeping it in the fridge, but I will try to put it in this box instead.
With some creativity, one could store pretty much any food item in this box, it has a good shape for the fridge.
I don't agree that it needs to be taller, it would be too big, unless your breads are freakishly tall as they seem to be with a bread machine. It has plenty of room for a loaf made in a normal bread pan (2 actually), and store-bought sandwich breads. It's even long enough for two small loaves of store-bought sandwich bread. I would buy a bigger, standing flour container or something if I needed a taller version for a taller bread.
