Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Heineken BT10001 BeerTender Tubes, 10 CountCustomer Review: The Good, the Bad, and the BeerTender Summary: 3 Stars
We love the Heineken BeerTender (having cold draft beer in the house is great!), and though you must have the BeerTender Tubes in order for it to work, there is frequently a problem with them. Sometimes the spout end of the tube doesn't allow the spigot top to shut properly, so we have to wiggle it around and play with it for a lot longer than seems right to get it to shut. When they slide right in, it's a wonderful thing, but about 75% of the time, this problem arises.
Other than that, Amazon got them delivered in short order, so Amazon gets five stars!
Customer Review: Beware the leak Summary: 3 Stars
The tubes are not completely fool proof it seems - just had one break lose at the junction to the Heineken spout - it drained more or less an entire Draught keg onto my counter and floor. This is the first time after about 15 refills that this has happened - but its a little disheartening. I will call it a freak event at this point, I will drop another keg in there tomorrow and see if life does not return to normal. Just fair warning, a leak in the system is an absolute disaster. Leaks are bad um kay.
Customer Review: Beer extractor Summary: 3 Stars
I don't know if it was the extractor or the keg of Heinekin...This also was the first time I had used the keg...The beer came out so foamy that I would have to wait 5 minutes for it to go down so I could finish filling up my "stein"....This really killed the experience, to the point that I am no longer interested in purchasing the Heinekin kegs...However, it did solve my problem of purchasing a keg with no pump. / LA
Customer Review: Beertender Tubes Summary: 3 Stars
The tubes are too long for the beertender, which surprises me since they are supposed to be made for the tender. Since they are too long, it is creating too much foam during dispensing!!!
Customer Review: BEERTENDER TUBES ARE TOO LONG Summary: 2 Stars
THIS IS A DESIGN FLAW IN THE BEERTENDER TUBES. THEY ARE TOO LONG AND DO NOT FEED DERECTLY FROM THE HEINEKEN MINI-KEG TO THE TAPPING APPARATUS AND SPOUT.
THIS NEEDS CORRECTION. I HAVE TALKED TO BEERTENDER IE. KRUPS AND HEINEKENS ABOUT AND THEY BOTH FINGER-POINT AT EACH OTHER FOR THIS PROBLEM.
THEREFORE NOTHING WILL GET DON I FEAR!!!
