This is the first nutcracker I have ever owned that did what it said it was going to do and did not place the stress on my hands. The stress was delivered appropriately to the nutshell, where it is supposed to be. I have had some muscle wasting in my dominant hand and it is difficult to crack nuts in recent years, so this product is great for compensating for that. It is easy to adjust the driver for smaller nuts or very large nuts, like walnuts. Its is reminiscent of a log splitter! I highly recommend for long-term use. And the price was appropriate. Our pecan trees really produced this year so my wife and I decided to buy another nutcracker. We had bought a Reeds Rocket several years ago and have been quite pleased with it. However, we couldn't remember which store we got it from and could not find a store locally that carries them. When I went to Amazon.com and found one exactly like our original I immediately ordered it. We cracked and processed over 60 cups of pecan this year without one problem.Customer Review: Perfect!

This product is exactly what I was looking for. The Reed's Rocket Nutcracker arrived within 2 days and we have been using it to get the pecans ready for Christmas baking! Really, I have been cracking thin shell nuts with this little jem and I very seldom need a pick to get the smashed nuts out with. It adjusts to the size of nuts being cracked and is very simple to use.

It was exactly as advertised. Easy to use and nice looking also. Stores back in box for neat storage. Couldn't ask for a better one. Hardly any nuts come out broken up. The adjustment for different size nuts is so easy a caveman could do it.
