Whoever said this knife is "too complicated"... that's just sad. If you're having problems with this, I don't think you should really be around knives at all, ya know?
This knife is great for cutting grapefruit. Contrary to the other review, you only have to "flip" sides once- I go around and cut with the double-bladed side between each segment, then flip it and cut their edges around the rind. Grab a spoon and each piece comes out incredibly easily, and like the description says, you don't get the nasty squirting like with a regular knife.
The serrated blades are sharp and eliminate the squirting and cut very well, you just have to make sure you don't stab yourself, the curved end is pretty sharp, but that's a good thing.
