I have had my shelf for a very long time and it still looks almost new. I hang everything on it, coats, umbrellas, hats, dog leashes and collars . . anything that will hang. I've been amazed at how sturdy the shelf has been, given the rough use it gets at my house. I keep sunglasses, suntan lotion and bug repellent on the top shelf in the warm weather, and gloves & earmuffs on it in the cold weather.Customer Review: It's Good. Simple as that.

I have the same model only in a different finish. We bought it 3 years ago to go in our new home and it is still up in the entry.
No complaints except for a very minor one, the shelf is a little on the small side. But had it been made larger it would have impeded the door and I purchased this item for coats, not books.
Overall we are very happy. It looks nice (at least in this finish) and it is sturdy.

Wall hooks arrived on time, good materials. Wish it had come with a template - took two tries to line up the back of the hanger and the hooks onthe wall. Shelf is narrow - should be a little wider for hats.
