normally i reserve reviews for products where additional information helps resolve uncertainty, but this product is already well reviewed and highly praised. but i nevertheless decided to write one. my cat is addicted to this toy and would probably trade me for more play time. while flying through the air it rotates to give it an even more lifelike appearance. no other toy or activity is as much fun to her and she looks around the whole apartment for it after i've put it away.Customer Review: Best cat toy for the Laziest Adult Cat

I adopted an 5yr old cat and its hard to retrain her from being so very very lazy. Tried numerous catnip stuff toys, treat ball, lighting balls, balls w/bells, birds hanging by the door and various wands. This is the only toy I get a good 15min+ or more playtime from her. I was the one who gave up. Catnip toys last 1-5 mins. at best. Now if only I can find a toy that she can play while Im away. Da best cat toy, paws down!
Our cats are night time terrors and we're always looks for a way to tire them out before bed. We finally found a toy that can hold their interest day after day (other than a laser pointer)! Our two cats LOVE Da Bird! We play with then 20 minutes before they eat (right before our bedtime) and they sleep through most of the night. All the reviews are true and I'm very happy with this toy.

Honestly, I don't have much new to say. Just look at the other reviews here. I just wanted to add that my two kitties are also crazy about this toy. I bought mine years ago at a cat show and thought, wow that's a bit much for a cat toy, but have never regretted it.
They have me trained to play with them every evening for a while. If I don't they will drag the feathers over to me and make me play.

ok - when i bought it i was thinking i just paid way too much for a cat toy. But I have to say - I have a whole new cat now. He LOVES it - and he's leaping way up in the air like I haven't seen him do in a couple of years. Pretty sturdy too - first fishing pole toy he hasn't broken and we've been using it almost daily since Christmas. Haven't needed to replace the end yet either.
