As expected the cat is crazy about the new toy. I already had a similar toy for years and she has completely trashed it. One of the great things is that you can thoroughly exercise the cat just by flicking your wrist. I use it during teleconferences, stems the boredom for both of us and requires minimal energy on my part. Especially useful when she gets cabin fever in the winter and needs to be exercised hard to get rid of all that nervous kitty energy. The item showed up in a day or two. I took this out of the package and both my cats starting going crazy. The two of them are fighting over who gets to play. Even my overweight cat who hates to move for anything that doesn't involve food is going crazy over this toy. My husband and I were laughing watching them chase it all around. I have to put it in a closet with the door tightly shut or they will get in and attack it some more. I'm amazed the feathers have held up for 2 days with they way they have been attacked, sure glad I got refills on it.Customer Review: It really is pretty cool

It really does look like a bird, the feathers spin and make a fluttering noise when you wave it around. My cat thinks it's a real bird, when she first saw it she made a weird chattering noise and then got so excited she hid in the closet. She is still getting used to it, she seems to get almost too excited when I bring it out, plays with it for a minute and then runs and hides. My very lazy, very cuddly Mama's boy turns into a hunter with this toy. I have had to get replace feathers twice already but it doesn't matter. He will look to play with his 'indoor' bird any chance he gets. He jumps ridiculously high, runs around after it like a lunatic followed by crouching and stalking when he gets tired. I realized a few months ago (we adopted him when he was 3)that the only thing that stimulates my cat to play, is feathers and this is the ultimate feather toy!!!!Customer Review: Happy kitties

My two cats LOVE this toy. I have quite a few toys, and before da bird their favorite was plain old string. But now they have a new favorite. They run, they jump, they somersault, and they provide me a lot of entertainment. One thinks it is a real bird and tries to drag it away to eat it. The other gets so worked up he doesn't want to eat when we are finished playing, instead he is looking for the hidden toy. Would definitely buy again. It also arrived super fast (from litterboy).
