We have used Ginsu knives in the past, but this stainless steel set is sharper and both looks and feels indestructible, yet they do not look out of place in a dining room table setting. These knives have a hefty feel which I like. My wife and I are very satisfied and we are also glad that we made this purchase. They were a great buy for the price, but they would be a great buy even if they cost much more.Customer Review: You won't be disappointed

I bought a dozen of these mostly on previous experience with Ginsu. New and improved over the previous generation, highly recommended. I know from shopping around you could certainly spend a lot more, but I doubt you would get a better knife. Cuts like butter, nice heftiness to the knife. Havn't gotten any rust going through the dishwasher. No question, best value out there.Customer Review: Great knives for left handed cutting!

I love these knives. It is so hard to find a sharp, heavy duty, yet handsome knife that also can be used by both left and right handed people. This does the trick! Since I've bought them, I've had to buy the block sets and additional sets of steak knives for my son (when he moved out) and other friends, because they fell in love with them. I bought this set as an adjunct to the Ginsu knife set with block (that comes with six of these same steak knives), as I needed to complete a service for eight. They are of the same quality - nice weighty feel and very sharp. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on cutlery, and I feel that I got a great deal for what I did spend on these.
