I'm a butcher by trade, and although these knives are different from those I use at work I'm very pleased with their quality and sharpness given the relatively lower price. I too was looking for somewhat of a bargain, and admit my choice was influenced heavily by the amount of positive reviews. I received this set as a gift. Firstly, the set looks beautiful on the counter. Very sleek. But what i love the most is the sharpness of the knives. I don't know much about knives, all that matters to me is that they help me cut and chop with ease and these knives fit the bill! And the price is amazing! These were a nice set of knives and quite sharp. We were quite impressed by the quality for the price. These items should all be hand-washed since the dishwasher can dull the edges very quickly.
The knives are stainless steel in color, and come in a nice black block. The weight of the knives were decent (not too heavy, nor too light). It makes a wonderful addition to every kitchen.

I had wanted new knives for a while but never bothered researching or purchasing. Then I noticed my brother-in-law had new knives. After talking about it and feeling the quality I knew I had to buy these for myself. They are extremely sharp so be careful. I store them with the blade facing up in the block so it doesn't wear out the blade or block. Definitely worth the purchase.Customer Review: WHAT A WONDERFUL BUY

Thanks to Amazon.com I finally have a decent set of kitchen knives. I have gotten many knives from other manufacturers that weren't worth even opening up. They, too, had promised a "lifetime warranty" which needless to say was as worthless as the knives. These knives come in a very nice black block holder that is a nice addition to any kitchen. I would definitely recommend them!
