I love these knives. Have been using them for 3 months. They're so sharp and the handles have the perfect heft in the hand. My dad, who is a big cook, used them when he came over and asked me where I got them because he loved them too. I quickly hand wash and dry them after using them, instead of the dishwasher, so I can't speak to any problems with rust spots after putting them through the washer. Wow these are sharp.. but while that is important, they are also very nice and heavy.. Not cheap at all! I love these knives. I almost bought some Kenkels but now Im glad I didnt... these are great for the price.. I love these knives.. I am making homemade bread and they cut through my bread very easily without deforming my bread and cutting a tomato is like cutting butter, seriously. I have been making do with dull knives for so long, I forgotten how much easier and faster cooking is when you have great knives to use! This knife set is perfect. It has the main knives you need on a daily basis. They are not kidding when they say these knives are sharp. They are! I have the cuts to prove it. Be careful when using these knives. After seeing so many knife sets cost $100 and up, I was a bit nervous about the quality of knives for less than $50. However, given the number of 5 star reviews I thought I'd give these a shot. My concerns were quickly laid to rest as they're fantastic! The craftsmanship is solid and they're quite sharp. After a week I was quite happy to toss my old cheap (in every sense) knives and haven't been disappointed.Customer Review: Worth every penny

I bought these knives in (Item model number: 4827) October 2006 on amazon.com . I've used them almost every day, and even on some camping trips. I hand wash them in the sink. They look as good as new, work as good as new, after almost 4 years so far. They will probably outlast me. What can I say, they speak for themselves. I use them, they don't break, they look good, and stay sharp. Worth every penny.
