I was doing some major research for knife sets and didn't want to pay an arm and leg for a knife set but also wanted good quality knives. When I read the reviews for the product and heard nothing but good stuff about the Ginsu knives I just had to buy these. I been using these knives for almost 2 years now and wash them regularly in the dishwasher and have not seen any rust or lost the sharpness of the blades. I really love these knives and will buy Ginsu again in the future, I am a believer!!Customer Review: Wonderful set. Very sharp and very useful.

I love this set. I've had it for about 2 and a half months. It's very sharp and cuts the food perfectly. I love the bread knife. Set also has 6 meat knives. We eat a lot of steaks when we have guests over. And it's only natural to serve the meat with the proper utensils. So these come in handy. Knives are really easy to clean - no stains, very compact. I was able to cut myself 2 times because I wasn't careful enough, so yes.. they are SHARP. But that's good. I strongly recommend this product.Customer Review: Ginsu Knife Set

When I got this set I did not realize that they are all fluted serrated knives other than the santoku knife so I was initially disappointed, but once I tried these I just fell in love with them. They are now my favorite knives, I like them even better than Henkles, because you don't need to sharpen them and the price is right on! I was so surprised how smoothly these knives slice through anything and since they are so sharp it is easy to control the blade to make perfectly even slices.Customer Review: Better than expected

When I received this knife and block set I was thrilled. Was hesitant to order because of the low price not knowing the quality but the reviews were good.When I opened the box I was not dissappointed. The knives are well made and look more expensive than they were. I don't put them in the dish washer, a habit I have developed over the years with my more expensive knives. They look as good as the day I received them. The block is well made and looks good on my counter.Customer Review: nice set

This set is very nice, looks like the high-end quality sets that you would pay much more. all the knives are sharp and the scissors are very nice. very good set and well worth the price. One last note all cutlery sets should all be hand washed to prolong the life of the blades there is no need to put them in the dishwasher even though they might say they can be. even high end knives can rust and not bad over time if you do indeed put them in the dish washer.
