It does get the dirt out, but for tougher stain, you kind of have to steam it longer in some spot. It's chemical free operation, however, the down side is your floor is still covered with germs.
it dries fast, that's because it only has a few steam at a time so you have to mop in one area for a bit longer. I am not going to lie on the floor when I know there are 60% germ still lingering there. At the end I still have to get a sanitizing wipe and mop the floor with my swiffer. Also, this shark mop does not swivel meaning that you the head can't turn 360 and get into tight spots.
For $79, I wish it has a cleaner solution built in somewhere to aide my cleaning.
Now for $39.00 you can if you buy the Lysol Steam mop! it comes with the cleaner solution built in and comes with a huge bottle ! Power of 2! and save $30. IT swivels too! it is also lighter than the shark. The steam doesnt come out
I realized that I can't see the steam coming out of the lysol because it is concentrated underneath!
The shark's mop is all show! The steam comes out. At first I was excited because it's steaming, but I then realized even more that why would I want the steam to be visible. Doesn't that mean the steam is not working the floor. The lysol steam mop is much wetter so you do get the cleaning done faster. Not to mention saving time because the floor is already sanitized too!
Anyways, another seen on tv product that just doesnt work.
