Description of GE SmartWater Replacement Water Filter Set (FXSLC Rev. 2)
The GE SmartWater replacement filter set (FXSLC) fits all GE SmartWater dual-stage drinking water filters and many other brands of dual housing filters such as Culligan and OMNIFILTER, that accept 9.75 x 2.5 inch filters including: GE GXSV10C, GE GNSV25CBL, GNSV30CWW, GNSV30CCC, GE GXSL03C, and GE GNSL05CBL. It is interchangeable with the GE FXSVC filter set. When installing, the white filter with no end caps goes in Position 1 (Closest to the inlet), and the other filter goes in Position 2. It removes the following impurities: 98% of Lead, 90% of Mercury (6.5pH), 89% of Atrazine (a Herbicide), 92% Lindane Removal (a Pesticide), 99.99% of Cysts, 99% of Asbestos, 99% of Turbidity, 97% of Chlorine, Particulates 0.5-1.0 micron. It does not remove flouride. GE recommends that you replace the filter every 6 months OR after 600 Gallons of water have been filtered OR if your system monitor lights indicate replacement is required OR if you notice a decrease in the flow of water or objectionable tastes in the water.Plumbing Fixtures & Faucets
