I purchased these bulbs to use in outdoor light fixtures where I previously had dim bulbs. I can say with certainty that these light bulbs are the full 100 Watt brightness they are rated at! My back yard is almost comically bright now thanks to three of these. And the value that the seller offered the 6-pack at was unbelievable!
I have suggested these bulbs to all of my friends, and I'd suggest them to anybody looking to cut their energy usage without cutting the brightness or spending a fortune on LED lights.

I used these bulbs to replace 6 incandescent bulbs in my house about 4 months ago. The electric bill didn't plummet but I noticed a difference of a couple bucks a month. I'm sure you'd save more on lights you leave on more often. The bulbs are great. They have a multi-year warranty on them in case they go out for some odd reason. So far, I've got them installed in my bathroom, bedroom, garage, front porch, and kitchen. I haven't used these long enough to comment on their life, but they seem great so far. They fit much better than 100W equivalents of the past. I put these in several places around the house. I probably need to buy another dozen. I want to try a couple in my garage door opener to see how well they live with the shaking. The best thing about these is the start-up time. These save you money that's not a joke they really do work. I have changed all mine to these in my house and can see a price drop on my electric bill and they last longer.
