I love poached eggs and when I saw these things I had to try them. I bought them from Amazon and the service, as usual, was fine. They do indeed work. I like my yolks runny and the whites firm, no problem. I use a 3 Qt saucepan with a lid and medium heat for five minutes. What the other reviewers said about oiling the cups is correct. Cooked egg white will stick to anything. But, even more effective than oiling, is a light spritz of PAM. The eggs will literally slide out.Customer Review: ENTIRELY BELOVÉD IN MY HOUSE

I put ± 1/8 tsp FabFlavor Olive oil in a Greenie, then did as directed. Cooked it the whole 6 minutes.
Had hot but not stiff (whoa, there cowboy!) separated small whole wheat pita at the ready.
Flipped amoebic Beauty onto one side, quickly crosscut same, ground on salt & pepper, gently mashed other side of pita into the previous and gobbled up.
Delicious and Easy and (very best) Amenable to all manner of tongue-tingling tastifications.
Yu-u-u-u-um.

Until a few days ago, I'd never poached an egg. Too many tricks (vinegar in the water?), too intimidating, too many easier ways to cook an egg. No more. These Poach Pods are pretty much foolproof for anyone at least moderately skilled in the kitchen, maybe a notch or two above simply knowing how to boil water. In addition to the ease, I have to say the poached egg the pod produces is, in my opinion, so much better than a fried egg. What a great value!Customer Review: LOVE THEM!

These little things are awesome! I had an egg poaching pan but it seems to have disappeared.. When looking to get a new one I came across the poach pods and thought it was a great idea - if they worked. They do work - quite well. If you follow the instructions you will have perfectly poached eggs that slide right out of the pod. You will also have more room in your cupboards since you now don't need a 'uni-tasker' pan for poached eggs.Customer Review: Very Useful Items

I like to drizzle a couple of drops of olive oil into these babies, crack an egg into each, then set them afloat in a pan of boiling water, cover with a lid & in 4 minutes, the eggs slide right out onto a bed of couscous & flax seed with chopped onion & celery. Spoon some pesto on top & serve.
Then turn the pods inside out & repeat! They are dishwasher safe & I've had no trouble to date with these little marvels.
