It took a little work to get our really dull knives back into shape, but now they are as sharp as new. We use high quality knives like Shun and this tool works great. We have several expensive sharpening tools that will probably never be used again.
Once you get the knife sharp, just swipe it on the sharpener 2-3 times before every use, wipe the blade with a towel, and Bobby Flay would be impressed with your cutlery.

I have had no problems with this sharpener, but I was very careful opening it the first time thanks to another reviewer's problems. The case does not appear to be very durable, but I will just take care when using it. I've been very pleased with the results when using the sharpener. The knives seem to stay sharp much longer than when I used the sharpener that came with the knives. Its a good product and well worth the money.Customer Review: Ozitech Knife Sharpener

I have hunted all types of game and fished many species needing many different knives to clean what I have harvested. I have tried many types of knife sharpeners and this one is the best I have ever found...manual or electric. In fact I have a partial shelf dedicated to all of my previous tries. I may now be able to clean off that shelf!
It is so user friendly that it would be goof proof for anybody's use.

I have never found a better sharpener for the price. Of course you can get better ones if you want to pay hundreds of dollars. This one works well for my needs and didn't take a huge chunk out of my finances. I would definitely replace it if it disappeared. One of the greatest things about it is that it doesn't wear me out sharpening either. Just a few swipes with the knife and voila! Done and sharp as I want it.Customer Review: Wonderful device

This is the best manual sharpener there is. I use it a lot and it does a great job on knives. This sharpener is very compact and light it would be great for camping trips. It can not be used on serrated knives, But great for all others. I got this item from the Handy House when it first became available at that time The Handy House was the only one handling it. I would recommend this item and The Handy House highly.
