The A/C unit arrived damaged. The container was not properly padded at all, so it comes like this from the factory. The metal was bent. We had UPS pick it up and ship it back to Amazon.com. About 10 days later, Amazon refunded the money. I never got to see how the unit works. If they just put a little more care into packaging, I would have a brand new unit and Amazon would have their moeny!

The FAK104R1V features electronic controls that is coupled with full-function remote capabilities that gives the consumer the control they love at the remote, not the unit. Cool, energy saver and fan modes, On/Off 24-Hour timer, auto cool and sleep can be programmed with the remote. Electronic controls offer filter check reminder and clean air features. This Frigidaire FAK104R1V Energy Star Rated Air Conditioner has a 10,000 BTU cooling capacity. It is well suited for medium to large room applications or rooms where supplemental cooling is needed (Up to 500 Square Feet) It features an EER of 9.5. The Variable Speed Fan and 8-Way Air Direction along with Electronic Controls with Full Function Remote and 24 Hour On / Off Timer makes it very easy to operate. LVC Technology (Low Voltage Compensation), proper operation of the unit is assured when voltage fluctuates below normal levels. Installing the unit is made easy with the Vertical Mounting Kit and Filter cleaning is a snap with the Tilt-Out Filter Access Feature. The FAK104R1V is 20 1/4- inches in height, 14 1/4-inches in width, and 24 1/2-inches in depth, weighs 90 pounds, and uses 115 Volts AC.
