I am quite pleased with my through the wall AC/Heater. I purchased this for my "Man Cave" that is a 16 x 32 x10' room attached to my new garage. I will use this to cool it on the humid summer day's and to supplement my pellet stove for heat in the winter if needed. Using the wall sleeve kit installation was a breeze.
As for cost to operate etc. we will have to wait and see.

The variable speed fan and 8-way air direction along with Electronic Controls make it easy to operate and with LVC Technology (Low Voltage Compensation), proper operation of the unit is assured when voltage fluctuates below normal levels. Installing the unit is made easy with the avaible Window Mounting Kit and filter cleaning is a snap with the tilt-out filter access feature. The FAH12ER2T is 14 1/2- inches in height, 24-inches in width, and 20 1/2-inches in depth, weighs 91 pounds, and uses 230/208 Volts AC.
